Coach Anne
Anne, who is originally from Denver, CO, started
gymnastics when she was eight years old and
competed up to Level 6. She has three years
experience as a team coach and six years as a
recreational instructor. After graduating high school,
Anne took a break from gymnastics to pursue a fun
and exciting career serving our country! She spent
ten years in the Army as a Russian Linguist and
enjoyed being part of something that was bigger than
herself. Anne completed her Bachelor’s of Science in
Business while on active duty. She then received a
teaching certification from the University of
Washington and began working as a middle school
math teacher in Tacoma, WA. A military change of
station brought Anne to North Carolina where she is
currently a stay at home mom to her two year old boy,
Luca. Anne has been married for five years to
Matthew, who is an air traffic controller in the Air
Force. She is thrilled to return to her favorite sport,
putting her teaching skills and her passion to good
use!
